About Flycast

Flycast is a free, open-source emulator for Sega Dreamcast, NAOMI, NAOMI 2, and Sammy Atomiswave games. It began as a continuation of Reicast, an earlier open-source Dreamcast emulator, and grew into its own actively maintained project under flyinghead and community contributors, expanding beyond Dreamcast to cover related Sega arcade hardware.

This website is an independent, community-managed resource that helps people learn about Flycast and download it for their platform. It is not the official project page. You can find the official Flycast source code and project on GitHub.

Our goal is to provide clear, accurate, and genuinely useful information for players, arcade fans, collectors, and first-time emulator users, without unnecessary clutter.
